I’m trying out for the Honey Tasting Panel at UC Davis.  I don’t have any experience in this field.  I’ll have to rely on my taste buds alone without any instruction on what is involved with honey tasting.  I did the same when I tried out for the UC Davis Olive Oil Sensory Panel.  Although, I did take some classes on olive oil tasting before I tried out for the panel.  It is basically a test to see if you have the skills that the panel leader will be able to refine until you become a true taster of honey.  I’ll let you know how it goes.
